this is a tattoo design i drew for a friend. he had the cross on his back, but just outlined, and he wanted me to add on to it, so i came up with this little number. he loved it, and i like it too despte some minor flaws.

funny thing you mention there about the borders. i originally intended to make them smaller to make it look like it was put together, rather than an engraving. but the dude i was doing this for wanted bigger borders, and i gotta say it looks better.

Cool, you don't see much knotwork that's modeled after engraving, this peice is unique in that sense. =D
